There are only subtle differences between the Conservatory and the Orangery. Traditionally the Victorian Conservatories have been recognized for their distinctive designs and intricate roof patterns. The Orangery typically utilizes less glass in the roof and walls but is accented with a skylight or roof lantern to create a unique classical design.
