A Hip Style Glass Roof System in Avon, CT
Skylights and glass roof systems are inherently versatile glass construction options because they can be added to existing spaces in a wide variety of styles and configurations. Today we’re exploring the addition of a custom hip style glass roof system to a client’s home in Avon, Connecticut. To complete this project, Sunspace Design teamed up with DiGiorgi Roofing & Siding out of Beacon Falls, Connecticut, who served as general contractor. We designed and manufactured the glass roof system in our shop and then transported it to the job site for crane-powered field installation. Let’s take a look at the process and the result.
