A Rooftop Ridge Skylight in York, ME

by | Dec 7, 2022 | Construction

The engineering and construction of our specialty glass construction components requires the right working environment, so we regularly make use of our workshop located in Hampton, New Hampshire. Today’s build journal details the start-to-finish journey of one such component: a rooftop ridge skylight installed on a property located in York, ME. The 5000 square foot home we contributed the skylight to is oceanfront property in an enviable location, and the owners are sure to enjoy the ample natural sunlight the skylight will allow to enter the home. The skylight’s opening is 7.5 feet by 20 feet and is located in the center of the building’s great room. To complete the project we worked with CM Ragusa Builders out of Seabrook, New Hampshire, and the talented design team from Portsmouth’s Fiorentino Group Architects.

Custom mahogany roof rafters are being assembled in our wood shop.
