A Victorian Conservatory in Natick, MA
At Sunspace Design we pride ourselves on our flexibility and experience. Though we sometimes serve as the start-to-finish general contractor for a project, we just as often will collaborate with fellow industry professionals by providing glass design-build services or fully engineered CAD drawings as needed.
Today we’re looking at a project that was all about partnership: the construction of a custom aluminum Victorian conservatory in Natick, Massachusetts. Rick Stewart of Wellesley, Massachusetts served as general contractor. Sunspace joined the project by designing and installing the custom conservatory itself. In recent years we’ve expanded our product line through the introduction of a number of custom aluminum glass construction options, and we’re proud to add this one to the portfolio.
Specialty conservatory components were provided by Solar Innovations. The conservatory is detailed with beautiful Victorian ridge cresting and a decorative finial, and finished in a custom black that captures the eye. Here’s a closer look:

The custom designed aluminum frame room has been installed on the builder’s conventionally built walls.

The gorgeous conservatory adds an entirely new dimension to the existing residential architecture.

The aluminum glass roof has a custom black finish, and has been outfitted with high performance glass.
Ridge cresting and a finial enhances the authentic Victorian style of the structure.
