Project Description

This traditional sunroom is located in Newton, Massachusetts and is part of large and beautiful Victorian home. Sunspace provided the clients with a beautiful year-round space in which to enjoy coffee in the mornings or relax by the fire on cold and stormy nights. Our goal was to provide a versatile and elegant space, and we’re proud to show you the results.
The clients were looking to create a sunny, comfortable space that was fully integrated with the existing kitchen. To accomplish this, it was important to allow light to penetrate back into the adjacent kitchen. Sunspace achieved the desired light levels through a careful design process when creating the sunroom’s glass roof system.
The room also features a corner gas-fired fireplace installation which brings comforting warmth and charm to the space. Wood flooring, wood trim, and matching moldings further contribute to the cozy atmosphere. To finish the space, Sunspace constructed a huge wraparound deck. This exterior space ensures that the clients will be able to enjoy the best of the outdoors and indoors regardless of the season.
