A Custom Aluminum Skylight in Lincoln, MA
We deeply value the relationships we’ve built with fellow industry professionals throughout the years. Although we can serve as a project’s general contractor as needed, it’s also common for us to serve in the role of a custom glass design-build subcontractor. Today’s build journal features one such project: we provided custom glass design and installation services for Adams + Beasley Associates, a general contractor out of Carlisle, Massachusetts. Our team was proud to introduce a 9 foot x 8 foot custom color curb-style welded aluminum skylight to an ongoing project for clients in Lincoln, Massachusetts. Let’s explore the skylight build process below!
The general contractor provided the structural opening for the skylight.
Interior work proceeds while we await delivery of the new skylight components.
The opening is readied for the skylight installation process.
The aluminum frame is installed.
High-performance insulated glass installation begins.
All glass components have been set in place!
We’re now ready for interior finishes.
The custom color aluminum skylight frame (and matching flashing) are installed over the curb provided by the general contractor.
