A Double Hip Skylight in Tulsa, OK
In the heart of Tulsa, Oklahoma, a client’s home has been adorned with a gem of a double hip skylight courtesy of Sunspace Design. Our dedication to craftsmanship extends far beyond our New England roots! We carefully transported this handcrafted, fully custom skylight unit across state lines and performed a flawless and efficient installation for the homeowners.
Beyond serving as a representation of the distances we’ll go to ensure our clients get the very best value, this project is also a testament to our company’s collaborative spirit. We partnered with Mel Bean Interiors and Form Development—both based in Tulsa—to bring the skylight to life. This talented team worked together to transform a dining area into a space filled with natural light, seamlessly connecting the cozy interior to the vast Oklahoma sky. Mel Bean Interiors served as our principal designer, providing the creative vision for the completed space, while Form Development took on general contractor duties to coordinate a seamless execution.
The skylight itself is a gorgeous custom creation, measuring 7’10” by 5’10” with a striking double hip design. A concealed steel ridge beam and two sturdy king posts provide steadfast support, while Solarban 70 fully tempered, insulated safety glass ensures optimal energy efficiency and weather protection. Sunspace Design is committed to bringing your vision to life no matter where you might reside. Join us as we take a walk through the project’s construction process.
