A Kitchen Nook Conservatory in Wellesley, MA

by | Sep 26, 2024 | Construction

What family wouldn’t love to share meals at a dining table that’s bathed in healthy, natural light by day while offering stunning views of the stars each night? Imagine a space where sunshine glides across the countertops and birdsong serenades you as you drink your morning coffee. Each meal can feel like a garden party with the help of custom glass design and construction.

This vision is taking shape for homeowners in Wellesley, Massachusetts thanks to a collaboration between the glass design experts at Sunspace Design, the talented architects at Keri Murray Architecture of Sharon, Massachusetts, and the capable coordinators at Grignaffini Construction LLC—local builders serving in the role of general contractor. Together, we’ve created a kitchen nook conservatory that seamlessly blends home comforts with amazing views. The impressive glass-roofed space measures 14′ 6″ by 7′ 11” and allows ample radiant light to penetrate into the home’s interior. The new kitchen space will be a haven where culinary creativity flourishes.

Glass construction has the unique capacity to dissolve boundaries between spaces and invite the outdoors in. Achieving this was our responsibility as the glass specialists on the project. The conservatory’s hip-style glass roof is a symphony of mahogany rafters and gleaming insulated glass that promises our clients year-round enjoyment. Let’s step behind the scenes and explore the project’s transformation from blueprint to tangible reality.
