A Custom Foyer Skylight in Pawling, NY

Our service area is centered on New England’s seacoast corridor, but we occasionally have an opportunity to work for clients a bit further away. Today’s build journal features a project completed for homeowners in Pawling, New York! We were brought in to design and install a gorgeous custom skylight centered above the foyer of the client’s home. To complete this project we worked alongside Hudson Valley Preservation who served as the general contractor. Let’s take a look at the installation process:

Our first step is the installation of the mahogany ridge.

Shop-primed mahogany rafters are set in place.

Sunspace workers ready the frame for insulated glass installation.

High-performance Solar Ban XL 70 insulated glass is placed.

Glazing tape is installed along all glass seams.

Aluminum capping and flashing is installed.
Copper flashing is also available.
