A Double Hip Skylight in Concord, MA
When homeowners in Concord, Massachusetts began to plan a brighter, more expansive kitchen and dining area for their home, they envisioned a space bathed in natural light. Sunspace Design’s glass design expertise was sought to realize their vision. We’re renowned throughout New England for crafting exquisite custom skylights that transform ordinary spaces into extraordinary havens. This impressive skylight project features a large, custom-built double hip skylight that illuminates the new kitchen extension. Additionally, we refurbished the home’s existing Velux skylights by outfitting them in sleek copper cladding.
This endeavor was true collaboration, bringing together the talents of Richard Gerace, a skilled general contractor based in Ayer, and Céline Riard, the creative mind behind CHIC Redesign based out of Framingham. Sunspace Design played a pivotal role by designing, manufacturing, and installing the breathtaking 10′ x 17′ mahogany-framed skylight and seamlessly integrating it with the home’s existing architecture. The result is a symphony of light and design that elevates the home’s aesthetic to new heights. Let’s take a closer look at the custom skylight’s journey—from concept to reality.
